A cultivar name is a story. A chemotype is a measured pattern of cannabinoids and terpenes. Only one of those travels intact from garden to garden.
Cuts drift. Environment changes the expression. Two rooms can sell the same name and different ratios. When you evaluate a lot, ask for the chromatogram summary, not the mythology of the cut. For teaching the public, lead with the measured class: CBD-dominant, balanced, or THC-dominant, plus whether contaminants were cleared.
If the name and the COA disagree, believe the COA.
